“Ok, so here are a few thoughts:
1. It’s not more important that you’re right.
2. Learn how to fight so you don’t wait until there is too much hurt & anger that then causes hurtful things to be said. You have to bring whatever it is that has hurt you or bothered you early on, don’t wait until you’re seething because then it comes out ugly! “Fighting” doesn’t always mean loud & ugly. “Good” fighting is talking about the issues before it gets there. And yes, “good” fighting can get a little loud but not be “ugly.”
3. Remind yourself that your husband is NOT a mind-reader. Learn how to tell him what you need & want. If you don’t, then you have no right to be angry with him.”
